This topic is here for the players of Game 6 to discuss the success and failure, plots and subterfuge of the last six months.

Most interesting was the presence of 2 NULLI's that did not appear to be players, but were robots or intentional aqgravator players. Since this was Expert game, I presume we all feared diplomacy rifts and worked together to attack the NULLIs, and avoided conflict with each other. That changed once NULLI Neutralized, but Earth had already been taken, and g6 was over.
Blood did change in 666(Gorm1,2,3) and I am not sure how I feel about that - was at minimum disruptive to the G6 culture. As new blood in G9, I exploited this shift and I am not sure how others felt about that. New Blood throws a monkey wrench in to the diplomatic game map.
One thing about Celemp that keeps me rocked back on my heals is the multiple winning conditions.
I have noticed in many games that someone always claims they were very close, or even "with-in 1 turn" of winning by Earth Credits.
Game 6 showed us a HUGE imbalance - if we can score 30K points in around 24 turns, or 10K EC in 25 turns, that is good balance. But to take Earth turn 14 clearly shows us that Earth takeover needs to be much harder. Earth takeover is a rules party topic; I think Game 6'ers would like full disclosure of the facts to the takeover so we can study ways to make it harder.
... and ALL the previous rules changes were a smashing success. Aside from Earth take-over T14, it felt like a real good Celemp game.

Game 6 ending in what I call a disputed win on T15.. Which lead to a reset of the game to G666 at the beginning of T14.
On T14 Player Gorm under the guise of an attack on a NULLI homeworld instead sent his Megadeathstar and support ships to Earth but failed to take Earth because Earth built more PDUs during the build phase. Gorm cried foul and said that it was not documented that Earth would build PDUs and that he had more than enough fire power to take out the available R4 so the admins allowed him to resubmit his turn and Earth fell and the victory came the next turn T15 to Gorm and his ally Silver. Well others then cried foul about letting him redo his turn so Game 666 was set in play at the start of T14 without the Earth Victory condition.

I was the GORM player and everyone hated him! It was kind of funny since I had NO connections to Nulli except a Ring 6. The rules are there to explain things and since nothing in the game can build retro activly I didnt figure earth could either. Not only that but the first time the turn ran the game exploded and earth mistakenly attacked my cargo ship instead of my ultra deathstar, so the turn had to be rerun as it stood. Well anyways, it matters not. I enjoyed the game none the less and right as everyone else was getting free toys from ex-nulli I ruined it by winning. Sorry guys!

Game 666 with Ardakia, Silver, Whysper, HYPERION, Grund , Agency and the New Gorm was started after the disputed end of game 6. The game was set back to the end of Turn 13 with the Earth Victory condition disabled.
HYPERION was the point leader and the coalition that had formed to deal with the NULLI threat was shattered by the events from Game 6 as well as the sudden departure of NULLI. NULLIs demise(?)had left a wealth of now neutral systems including 2 neutral homeworlds as well as neutral ships littered across the galaxy.
At this time Ardakia was in the middle of the pack pointwise and not perceived as a threat. It was then that Ardakia, Grund and Agency decided to work together to try for a score victory reasoning that a takeover of one of the former NULLI homeworlds would help get us back in the race. Since Ardakia had the best score of the group I would work on the homeworld takeover while my allies worked to ingratiate themselves with the other players. A combination of luck and bold moves got a former NULLI home world for Ardakia and saw my erstwile allies each with alliance status to one of the top score leaders. This allowed two things, first Grund got to slow score leader HYPERIONs growth by hitting the industy on his homeworld allowing us to close the gap in score quickly and second Agencys use of RP orders neutralized Silver and Whyspers planned attack on Ardakias homeworlds. In fact Agencys RP backstab was so well executed it netted him the second neutral homeworld which was quickly donated to the cause.
The last two turns saw a run at an Earth Credits win by the New Gorm with help from the Silver/Whysper team but the combined effort of Ardakia/Grund/Agency alliance was enough to see us over the 30K line first. This was a true alliance win and would not have been possible without the excellent play of my allies.
